UGA's Official Anime Club

As voted by the club at the Org meeting last week, we're holding the next UGAnime Game Night on Thursday April 16th. We'll start taking down what people want to bring and what they want to play in the coming days. Come to the Org Meetings and check the message board for further updates.

We will be holding the first Mikage Seminar as run by Brent Allison on March 31. That's Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm. Come discuss anime with us in the Tate lobby. Go to the Events and Club Talk board for more information or to ask questions.

As I said on the message board, we will be having a meeting to make up for the snow day before Spring Break. We will hold the make-up meetin in room 148 of the SLC on April the 8th. That's a Wednesday, as we voted for at the Org Meeting. As usual, it starts at 7 and goes until 10. Hope to see you there.

The University has canceled class for Monday March 2nd. Therefore, UGAnime will no hold a meeting. We will reschedule the meeting for another day. Please go to the Org Meeting and check the board to help us find the best day for everyone to attend.

The votes are in. The first UGAnime Game Night of Spring 2009 will happen on Thursday, February 5th from 7:00 to 10:00pm. We'll be in room 148 of the SLC. Come to the Org Meetings to help set up what we're playing when.

The Monday meetings for this Spring Semester will start on January 12th in SLC room 248 with Mystery M33t. Wednesday Org Meetings will start on January 14th in room 143 of the Tate Student Center. As before, Monday meetings run from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and Org Meetings start at 9:00pm.

There are two upcoming events for UGAnime in November.

The second UGAnime Game Night will be Tuesday, November 11th, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm in SLC room 150. We're taking suggestions for tournament games at the Org Meetings.

The Bake Sale will be on Thursday, November 20th, from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Sign-ups for the manning the table in the Tate Plaza as well as for baked goods will take place over the coming weeks.

The UGAnime Game Night is tonight at 7:00pm in room 150 of the SLC. Show up for electronicly-induced fun and excitement and a Brawl Tournament.

We are beginning preparations for MDOA 26. Theme suggestions are due this Wednesday, the September 17, at the Org meeting. Also this Wednesday we will begin taking show suggestions and art submissions for the street painting. There is a thread on the message board for everything that's going on. Show up at the Wednesday Org meetings for more information and to participate in the preparations.
